Corporate Profile Discovery Drill Manufacturer Ltd. has been in operation since 1999. The company has over 40 years experience in the diamond drilling industry. Before founding DDM, our President John Labonville, worked in the exploration industry for over 30 years.Our manufacturing facility is located in Beresford, New Brunswick, Canada. Our shop is a 7,000 square foot building fully equipped with state of the art welding and machining equipment. Our certified technicians have over 80 years combined experience in the drilling industry. In 2004, DDM went to market with its first drill. Our clients are located throughout North America, South America, and Europe. Seven of our clients are repeat customers. DDM offers a variety of Turnkey Hydraulic Diamond Drills that will enable a drilling contractor to undertake a project upon delivery. The EF-50, EF-75 and the EF-50F have all been designed with the operator in mind from both the perspective of safety and ergonomics. All the controls are operator friendly and easy to read – they include a camera and monitor that enables the operator to safely view the wireline hoist operations directly from the operator’s station. Our rod handler was designed to be efficient and easy to use. The controls are housed on a swing out arm that stows safely during operation. Acknowledging the need for environmental safeguards we have integrated a catch basin capable of capturing over 50% of any fluids in the event of a rupture. |
